Ski vacation in Germany – everything you want!

There are many possibilities to spend your ski vacation in Germany. Situated in the Alp and consisting of many medium-sized mountains it offers great opportunities and a variety of skiing areas. The most important, of course, is Bavaria with its connection to the Alps. Garmisch-Patenkirchen is the place where the New Year’s competition of ski jumpers takes place, which is one of the most important events of the year. But certainly other towns and regions also take part in winter sports. The Thuringian Forest nearly as famous as Bavaria is the area around Oberhof, where many bob and luge competitions take place. There can also be seen internationally accepted world cups in such disciplines as biathlon and skiing.

Less famous but as perfect for a ski vacation as the other regions in Germany is a group of mountains in the middle east of Germany called the Ore Mountains. It offers a great variety beginning from downhill skiing to luging or ski jumping. Although this area is not as big as others many tourists loved it. Therefore, Germany offers for each person the right skiing area.
